We drink more soda than ever, but here is some information that may keep you from opening the screw cap.

Do You Know Soft drinks are a significant contributor to obesity……………………..

Do you drink a half liter of soda a day can help with a weight gain of a pound a month! And no, it is unfortunately not enough to stick to light products. The artificial sweeteners may cause physiological and hormonal responses that make you gain weight.

Liver Damage: Fizzy drinks damage your liver. A vast consumption may increase your risk of getting cirrhosis of liver corresponding to the increased risk of chronic alcoholics.

Tooth decay: Soda dissolves tooth enamel. Soft drinks are responsible for doubling or tripling of the incidence of tooth decay. Soda water acidity is worse for teeth than sugar in solid form which can be found in candy.

Kidney stones and chronic kidney disease: Cola is known for high levels of phosphoric acid, a substance which modifies the urine in a manner that promotes the formation of kidney stones. A quarter of a soda a week, increasing your risk by 15%

Diabetes: Anything that promotes weight gain increases the risk of diabetes. Diet drinks also disrupt the body’s ability to convert sugar. Some researchers believe this may explain the large increase of type 2 diabetes.

Heartburn and acid regurgitation: Heavy consumers of soft drinks often have heartburn. Carbonated beverages are very acidic. They must also supply a lot of air in the form of carbon dioxide, which can cause distension of the stomach and that this distension appears to be associated with more reflux.

Osteoporosis - brittle bones: Soft drinks containing phosphoric acid is clearly linked to osteoporosis weakening skeleton structure because it leads to lower calcium levels and higher phosphate in the blood. When phosphate levels are high calcium levels are low, calcium is pulled out of the bones

High blood pressure: Experts have good reason to believe that excessive consumption of soft drinks leads to an increase in blood pressure and it does not matter whether it is regular or light sodas.

Heart disease: Heavy soda-water drinkers are more likely to develop risk factors for heart disease. According to experts drinking more than one soda a day is associated with an increased risk of developing metabolic syndrome - a group of symptoms such as central obesity, hypertension, elevated fasting blood sugar, elevated triglycerides and low HDL or good cholesterol. With three or more of the symptoms that increases your risk of developing diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Impaired digestion: Gastrointestinal disorders include increased stomach acid levels requiring acid inhibitors. Do you drink sodas, especially on an empty stomach may upset the delicate acid-base balance in your stomach and intestines and creating a continuous acid environment. This prolonged acid environment can lead to inflammation in your digestive tract.

This name, with an air of sophisticated, simply refers to what happens with the vast majority of cervical spine of people as they age. The term spondylosis relates to an overgrowth of bone associated with aging of the column. To say that the osteophytes originate from a micro instability and disc degeneration is only a hypothesis still under discussion and not a truth already established. It is clear that a large percentage of patients, although not suffering from neck pain or other symptoms present, present a radiological spondylosis of the spine. In some people, however, spondylosis may be associated with osteoarthritis neck pain. The spondylosis is one of the final stages of disc degeneration

Cervical spondylosis:
The cervical spondylosis is a degenerative disease of the inter-vertebral discs and vertebrae of the neck, which you press the spinal canal compromising the movement.

This is a disease that most often affects the elderly but also middle-aged adults.

Symptoms of cervical spondylosis:
The cervical spondylosis produces a narrowing of the spinal canal in the neck, compressing the spinal cord or spinal nerve roots, and thus causing their dysfunction.

Symptoms may include:
* Unsteadiness when walking;
* Pain in the neck;
* Weakness in the legs;
* Loss of muscle mass in the legs.

The cervical spondylosis produces a narrowing of the spinal canal of the neck and compresses the spinal cord or spinal nerve roots, causing their dysfunction. Symptoms may be due to both a spinal cord compression injury to the nerve roots. The first symptom of spinal cord compression is usually the change in the floor. The movements of the legs can be up to the bumps and walking becomes unstable. It may hurt the neck, especially if the nerve roots are affected. Before or after the symptoms of spinal cord compression may develop weakness and thinning of the muscles in one or both arms.

Cervical Spondylosis treatment:
The simplest cases cervical pain, which are also the most frequent, in which there is impairment of nerve function, and are treated symptomatically with exercises designed to improve cervical range of motion, and correct posture when changed. In cases where there is only radiculopathy, one could try conservative treatment with anti-inflammatories, painkillers.

When these measures are not followed by functional recovery, may be indicated to surgical decompression. In cases where there is progressive myelopathy, treatment should be surgical decompression of the spinal cord.

The Amelogenesis imperfecta comprises a group of complicated conditions that show abnormal development in the structure of enamel in the absence of a systemic change.

Three resistant structures in the tooth: the enamel, dentin and cementum have different characteristics as to their chemical composition, its physical and chemical factors, their origin, function and pathology. The enamel, or outer covering of the tooth, is the substance harder on the body, is found only in the crown, coating completely and protecting the dentin of external exposure. The tooth enamel is composed of about 96% of organic material, and the remaining 4% are composed of organic matrix and water. These dental disorders can be manifested as abnormalities of shape, number, eruption and exfoliation, or structure.

There are two basic types of enamel hypoplasia:
1) A type-hereditary amelogenesis imperfect.
2) A type caused by environmental factors.

The amelogenesis imperfecta is a group of hereditary enamel defects not associated with any other defects generalized. A disorder exclusively ectoderm, as the mesoderm components of the teeth are basically normal.

Among the imperfect amelogenesis find:
1) Amelogenesis imperfecta, hypoplastic enamel thickness is smaller than normal, with horizontal cracks and depressions.
2) hypoplastic Amelogenesis impereita depressions with autosomal-dominant.
3) Amelogenesis imperfecta local hypoplastic autosomal domiante.
4) Dominant Amelogenesis outossomica tooth surface smooth.
5) Amelogenesis imperfecta hipoplatica with rough-autosomal dominant.
6) Amelogenesis imperfecta hipoplatica X-linked
8) Amelogenesis imperfecta hipomaturativa
9) Amelogenesis imperfecta, hypoplastic hipomaturativa taurodontia with autosomal dominant
10) Amelogenesis imperfecta hipomaturativa X-linked
11) Amelogenesis imperfecta, pigmented autosomal recessive.

Several different factors, causing damage to the ameloblasts:
1 - Nutritional deficiencies such as vitamins A, C and D.
2 - Exantemoticas diseases e.g. measles, chicken pox, scarlet fever.
3 - Congenital syphilis.
4 – Hypocalcaemia.
5 - Trauma at birth, prematurity.
6 - Local infection or trauma.
7 - Ingestion of chemicals.
8 - Idiopathic.

Dental enamel hypoplasia produced by local causes develop a special type of anomaly known as tooth Turner. Turner’s tooth in addition to hypoplasia, has misshapen crown or different structure of the defective enamel to change the shape of the root.

Osteoporosis Prevention and Care

Osteoporosis is a disease that affects the bones. It is characterized when the amount of bone mass decreases substantially and developed hollow bones, thin and extremely sensitive, more prone to fractures. It is part of normal aging and is more common in women than in men. The disease progresses slowly and rarely shows symptoms before it happens something more serious like a fracture, which is usually spontaneous, i.e. not related to trauma. If they are not made diagnostic preventive osteoporosis can go unnoticed until it has greater severity. Osteoporosis can have their development delayed by preventive measures.

It invades your body without big deal, worsening their quality of life and can be fatal. Osteoporosis is anyway quiet and very dangerous disease that deserves more attention from women, particularly those that have reached menopause.

Osteoporosis is a disease characterized by increased fragility of bones, thus undermining its ability to sustain the structure of our body. The bone actually is a living tissue such as skin, for example. It renews itself constantly, and through your cells, maintains the balance of the amount of calcium in the body.

Between 30 and 35 years of age, bone mass of man and woman reaches the ceiling. Therefore, it is important to understand what will happen thereafter.

After this age, begin to lose bone slowly and gradually for both gender, this process, however, is accelerated when a woman reaches menopause. In 5 to 6 years following menopause, women lose twice as much bone mass 3- 4% per year compared to men the same age 1- 2% per year.

Identify Osteoporosis Prevention:
Prevention is a powerful weapon for osteoporosis treatment. It can start with simple and rapid tests such as bone densitometry, which records the density of bone mass. The values obtained are compared to normal.

Identifying the key, risk factors of osteoporosis:
* Heredity: mother, father and older sister with osteoporosis, may determine the onset of bone loss after 45 years of age.
* Reduction of hormones: when decreasing the production of hormones starts to loss of bone mass, therefore, the earlier the menopause, the greater the risk of osteoporosis.
* Race and body structure: women with delicate bone structure, and thin-skinned are at greater risk.
* Sedentary lifestyle: women with little or no regular physical activity, such as walking or exercising.
* Chronic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis pain and inflammation in joints, thyroid dysfunction and kidneys, leading to greater bone loss.
* Inadequate Nutrition: low consumption of foods rich in calcium from childhood to adulthood is committed to renewal of bone mass.
* Smoking, alcohol and coffee in excess.
* Continuous use of certain medications without medical supervision

Key to prevent osteoporosis compromises your quality of life. It is the leading cause of micro-fractures of the vertebral column, hip fractures, femoral neck and wrists, causing constant pain, forced immobilization in bed and, consequently, poor quality of life.

For women who have reached menopause, in general, we suggest adequate intake of calcium, whose major sources are milk and dairy products (cheese, cottage cheese, and yogurt), green leaves, all types of vegetables, fruits (orange, tangerine and strawberry) and meat (sardines, salmon and beef).

When the diet is insufficient, use Health supplements containing calcium, an effective to reduce the occurrence of new fractures in women after menopause, with osteoporosis.

Pneumonia: Caused by a lung infection caused by several species of bacteria. Bacterium settles in the lungs, and symptoms often include high fever, shortness of breath, chest pain and coughing up phlegm and sometimes blood. Sometimes affects people with low immune system or attack.

Bronchial Asthma: It is defined as a respiratory illness where the bronchial constriction and inflammation of the mucosa prevents and depending on the situation restricts the airflow, causing breathing difficulty. Its symptoms are intense sneezing, ocular inflammation in the nasal mucosa, and therefore a difficult breathing with oxygen absorption.

Rhinitis: It is an inflammation of the mucous membranes lining the nasal cavities due to allergic processes and thus produces excess mucus.

Sinusitis: Sinusitis is an inflammation of existing cavities in the bones of the face, in which bacteria invade the nasal passages, which can cause pain in the face and nasal mucous discharge.

The inner parts of the male reproductive organs consist of seminal vesicle, prostate, vas deferens, testis, epididymis and Bulbourethral gland. Ejaculation volume is much like a teaspoon and contains approximately 100 million sperm per milliliter. Ejaculation may have a different texture and color.

Sperm
Sperm are formed in the testicle of a special type of stem cells. By the stem cells constantly renewed, you can never do away with sperm how many trips you have. It takes about three months to form a sperm. Normally it is formed around 100 million sperm per day. Spermatozoon consists of a head, intermediate piece and tail. The head is DNA material, namely the genes. After ejaculation sperm can continue to live and be capable of conception inside the woman’s body for a few days.

When ejaculation occur rhythmic contractions of the muscles in your lower abdomen and in the sperm’s leading galleries, so that the sperm ejected. The sperm that comes out only when the trigger is considered to have the best ability for fertilization. Fresh sperm fertilizing ability is better than ‘old’. If you trigger more often, you get more out fertilization viable sperm than if you have the trigger more often. After three to five days for sperm quality begin to decline.

Prostate
The prostate gland consists of thirty adults are the same glands and sits in the upper part of the urethra, just below the bladder. Why do men have a prostate gland do not doubt but the prostate fluid contains substances that have positive effects on sperm and affect sperm fertilization capacity.

Bulbourethral Gland
These glands are two barely centimeter glands located in the upper part of the urethra. They sit just below the prostate gland. In connection with sexual arousal moisten the urethra of these glands and is usually able to see a small drop in urethral end of the tip of the penis. The solvent can be important to lubricate the urethra before ejaculation.

Ejaculation and orgasm
Ejaculation volume is much like a teaspoon and contains approximately 100 million sperm per milliliter. Ejaculation may have a different texture and color. To the man’s release to work for fertilization, the various liquids placed in a particular order. First, the liquid from Bulbourethral gland, then a sperm fluid from the epididymis mixed with prostate and finally filled with semen on the fluid from the seminal vesicles.
One reason that some men have difficulty achieving conception may be that the liquids are mixed wrong. When a man has a position closing the opening to the bladder, so there is no risk that it will urine instead of sperm. This means that sperm are not placed in the bladder associated with ejaculation.

Blood in the semen
To have blood in the semen occasionally is quite common. It may be due to small ruptures in blood vessels. Scoring, you can get because of the sexual activity can be strenuous. However, you have blood in the semen can often be caused by an infection of the urethra or testicles. Then you should consult a doctor.

Fertilization
Fertilization means that the woman becomes pregnant. Fertilization occurs when a sperm merge with an egg cell and becomes a new cell. Normally this is done through sexual intercourse but can also be done artificially. It through sexual intercourse must be the trigger man inside a woman’s vagina. After ejaculation the sperm swim up the uterus and into the fallopian tubes where they can fertilize an egg cell. At conception the sperm is released into the oocyte. A woman can be fertilized when she is ovulating. Since the man’s sperm can survive several days inside the woman for fertilization take place a day or after the intercourse.
